My Runescape History:
I cannot remember how I first got involved in playing runescape, although I was also playing Planetarion at the time and it was either someone from that game that suggested RuneScape - or more likely the fact that I was bored of it as it was real time based and I felt I needed to get into a less time consuming game... was I wrong or what.
Runescape Career:
My runescape career began in August 2001 or August 2002 - I really forget, but I know it was during the early days of runescape classic when nobody had achieved maximum combat and anyone that was combat level 100 or higher was a very rare sight. The main trading area was at Draynor Market and lobster certs were the main currency of trade.
Anyway, I found the game through a search engine and created my character as normal, usually playing 2-3 hours per day and not really making any significant progress. Generally I just explored and tried out each of the skills that were available on free to play. I never really got into questing but did start to mine more frequently as I had the desire to get high smithing. I worked on mining and smithing primarily and done a few quests as well as minimal work on other skills.
When fatique was introduced into the runescape, I felt it was causing too much problems with gameplay and I quit for 18months or so. I had achieved level 68 smithing and not really much else. I ventured off and found a turn based RPG and played that during the 18 months or so.
Runescape 2:
After getting bored of the turn based game I once again discovered Runescape - and it had changed significantly, runescape 2 had been released a few month prior and most people had transitioned over to the new codebase. I quickly got into playing the game and it felt as I never took a break - everything just seemed so natural.
I decided to go for 99 smithing and set about levelling. I took out membership and trained various skills at different times before finally achieving level 99 smithing. After this, I decided to focus on slayer for a while as many of my friends had started to get level 85 slayer and I felt as though I was left behind. The next few months was mainly training combat through doing the slayer skill as well as joining a clan, DOA (Dead On Arrival).
Runescape Clans:
My runescape clan career has seen me being a member of 2 clans, initially DOA for 18months or more and later ST (Sacred Templars). I ceased being involved with runescape clans when ST closed on 27th Aug 2005. I then focussed on my runescape help site and have taken a much less active role in the game.
My future plans are to continue developing this runescape help site as well as trying to start my own business online and eventually have a network of websites. My hopes are that any player wishing to contribute a guide for runescape would register and submit their unique content for my site - as currently I have numerous ideas and plans in the works for an online business and do not have sufficient time to dedicate to bringing comprehensive guides to this site anytime soon on my own.

I am currently level 121 combat with 95 slayer. I have just started working on slayer again and will work on the rest of my combat levels which will eventually leave me at level 126 combat. However, that will take a while to get high enough prayer level.
