This is a collection of frequently asked questions for crafting on runescape and helping you understand the skill more. 1. How do I get into the crafting guild on runescape?
To be able to enter the crafting guild you will need level 40 crafting. In addition you will also have to wear a brown apron to get past the master crafter. The apron can be bought from the Varrock Clothes Store.

2. How can I get more gems for crafting?
If you are a non-member then you have no method of boosting the amount of gems you will get from mining and therefore will have to buy gems from other players. If you have a member account then wearing a Glory Amulet will increase your chances of mining a gem. In addition, members can also complete the Shilo Village Quest and access the gem mine there which will give 1 random gem from saphire, emerald, ruby, diamond, opal, jade or red topaz.

3. How do I make molten glass in crafting?
a) Collect some seaweed
b) Fill up some buckets with sand
c) Cook the seaweed on a range to get soda ash
d) Go to a furnace with soda ash and a bucket of sand in your inventory and use on the furnace to produce molten glass

4. What is the best way to train crafting on runescape?
The crafting skill in runescape has many different methods to train, it is just a matter of finding the method that appeals best to you. There is a list of crafting tips for runescape in the skill guide main section that can help you know some of the better ways to train crafting. However, the list is not extensive and players will normally settle into using more than one method to train their crafting skill.
