1. What is the best way to level prayer on runescape?
One way to level your prayer skill is to always bury bones even if it is normal bones that give low experience as you will gradually level up your skill. For non-members they can concentrate on fighting monsters that drop big bones for better experience. Members on the other hand have an additional method to level their prayer skill - using the ectofungus worshipping. This will give 4 times the amount of experience for each bone you use. It is suggested to only worship the ectofungus on dragon bones or better due to the time taken to collect other items that you require. Players can also check this list of prayer tips.

2. Does protect prayer work against monsters and other players in runescape?
Yes, protect prayer will always work against monsters in runescape although against players it will only work with 50% effectiveness.

3. Does hitting another player with a Dragon Scimitar affect the protect item prayer as well?
No, the protect item prayer is not cancelled out by being hit with the Dragon Scimitar special. Only the three protection spells of melee, mage and range are affected.
