Merchanting

Ok, so you want to merchant on runescape?

Well this guide will help you, first you start off with an item, for example a Whip.

Ok so take your item and sell it for 100k more than the original price that you paid for it. I perfer world 2 Fally (Falador) east bank, or world 18 edgeville, thanks to the new wilderness ditch there will not be as much scamming and lures that was once common.

It should be noted that if you are trying to make money DO NOT ACCEPT ITEMS in place of the item you are trying to sell... only accept cash for your items.

Once you have sold your item, go to a world and try to buy it for 200k less than you sold it for. Repeat this process endlessly to merchant any item you wish in runescape. Only merchant items that are worth 100k+ as this gives you some room to make decent profits from each item.

Im using a whip as my example, whips sell easily and fast, and they are one of my favorite things to merchant.

  • If you are selling a whip go right outside of the fally east bank.
  • If your selling Rares, sell them at the top of fally park.
  • If your selling dragon armor sell it by the 2 ponds in fally park.
  • If your selling Barrows armor sell it at the statue of Saradomin in Fally park.

Buy these items at the same place.

this was a good way to merchant on runescape before the Grand Exchange - but things are different these days.
