Barrows

First of all You will need to do In Search Of The Myreque quest to do barrows efficiently.

This gives You a short cut from canafis (behind the bar) To Mort'ton

Secondly Get 50 Construction, build an alter and build a teleportation portal to Canafis, Ancient teleport : Kharyll.

Equipment:

There are many different variations on what equipment people should use when they are doing the barrows in runescape. There is no strict uniform as such, but generally the best rule of thumb is to barrow in something that you feel comfortable with - there is no sense fighting at the barrows if you are afraid to lose the items that you are wearing as you will most likely lose them because you expect to lose them.

This is what I use and I wear

So Now we are at the barrows

Super attack pot for Karil
Pray pot for EMERGENCY only.

1.) Start off fighting Dharok - Use Protect From Melee
2.) Now Verac - Protect From Melee if you like (his max hit through pray is 15)
3.) Now to Karil - Super pot attack.Use 2 Dragon Dagger specials on him while protecting from range attacks - also use 15% offensive bonuses if you like, use whip to finish
4.) Ahrim - Put on your hides and use the remaining 2 dagger specials and whip to finish, including 15% offensive bonuses, mage protect not really required.
5.) Torag - Fight wearing full rune no pray required
6.) Guthan - Fight wearing full rune no pray required

Obviously you will not get to kill all 6 brothers in their Tombs you will find a tunnel in one.

So lets say you have already done 5 brothers in their tombs and get Dharok in the tunnel. You go to Dharoks Crypt. And you end up in the tunnel:

You want to aim to get dharok in on of the 4 corner rooms (the ones with the red dot)

This way you can get him stuck behind the ladder you came down, or where the ladder is meant to be (jagex still programmed them in)

Or you can get him stuck behind the rocks in the side rooms (dotted in green)

Example:

Doing it this way means you wont need to use prayer pots AT ALL.

So now, kill count or no kill count?

Personally I get a random amount every trip.

Its up to you if you just fight the brothers or not.

So your ready for the chest make your way through the tunnels untill you can see the light grey coloured door to the middle room. After a few trips you will get your bearings and know where you are all the time.

The answer is the same everytime.

Now your in the middle room with the chest infront of you, Click to open the chest and click again to loot it.

After you have done that your screen starts to shake.

Now you Teleport to your house, recharge prayer on your alter, and go through your lovely Kharyll portal to end up back at canafis, restock anything you need at the bank and repeat.

Happy Barrowing. Jagex may introduce more changes in future that affect this barrow guide, but overall this will help any runescape member complete barrows with a good degree of efficiency and they may well gather up plenty of barrows items in the process.
