Runescape weapons offer players of all types an opportunity to battle it out against monsters and other players. Some of the weapons are made for speed while others are made for pure power. Prices fluctuate for items that cannot be smithed, although common weapon prices may fluctuate depending on the person buying.

Most players will only ever use lower level common items for combat when they are training up their skills, so overall the demand is normally very low for them. Rune weapons are normally always in demand as that is the best items available for free to play people.

Members have a much greater variety of weapons to choose from and each of these can fluctuate in price rapidly when first introduced into the game. However, after the novelty factor has worn off new items, the price tends to steadily decrease over time until a natural market price is accepted by the majority of the runescape community. In saying that, there is never a firmly agreed price but more of a generally accepted price range. Again, this price guide is for guidance only and prices may fluctuate outside the expected price range on occasion.
