Horvik's Armour Shop:

Horvik's Armour Shop is located near the center of Varrock City. It is a very useful shop for low level players who wish to buy armour but do not have a high enough smithing level to make. It is also more frequently used in free to play servers on Runescape than on member servers as many players that train their smithing skill will sell their low level armour directly to Horvik in exchange for some coins.

The armour on sale here is primarily aimed at low level players and it is conveniently located close to one of the busiest cities in Runescape. The default shop prices are a guide but will vary depending on the level of stock for any particular item. The higher number of items in stock, the lower the price Horvik charges.

Players who are using free to play characters often sell their armour when they are training their smithing skill if they do not have a high enough level to cast high alchemy, or if they do not have sufficient runes in stock. The amount of coins Horvik gives to players for their armour will also depend on how many items there are in stock. This will decrease as more of any particular item is in stock.
