Varrock Sword Shop

The Varrock Swordshop is located slightly south west of the Varrock General Store and is a fine assortment of weapons for all low level players. There is normally sufficient stock to cater for all players' needs as most people will have some knowledge of making money and will therefore be able to afford new weapons as their level increases. This should provide sufficient weaponry to enable low level players to gain combat and consequently the ability to wield higher level items as their level rises.

The range of weapons on sale at the Varrock Swordshop clearly show it is intended for low level to mid level players. The prices of items in the shop are indicative of the price a player would expect to pay for an item if they were trading with another player, although when trading to a player there is never any concrete price. New players should take note of the shop prices and if someone tries to sell any of the weapons stocked in the Varrock Swordshop, then they will know if they are receiving a bargain or not.

Players who have levelled up their smithing skill may also use the Varrock Swordshop to sell their newly smithed weapons to the shopkeeper in return for some coins - as there is not a lot of demand for low level weapons in general.
