Witch's Potion Quest Guide

Items Needed:

A few GP
Raw meat, rat, bear or beef.

Quest Walkthrough:
Speak to Hetty; she is in Rimmington, west of Port Sarim.

1. When you talk to Hetty, explain you're in search of a Quest. She will say she can help you in the dark arts (increase your magic) by making a potion.

2. But she needs certain ingredients for it. You will need to collect the ingredients for the potion, they are:

a piece of burnt meat
an eye of newt
an onion
rat's tail

3. You can get burnt meat by cooking and burning raw beef, raw rat meat or raw bear meat. Burnt chicken isn't burnt meat. There is a field with cows to the north, next to the crafting guild. Kill one of the cows and collect the beef. Then head to the range and cook it. If successfully cook it, just use the cooked meat with the range again to burn it.

4. To get an eye of newt you need to go to Betty's Magic Emporium just north of the jewellery store in Port Sarim. They cost about 2gp.

5. There is an onion patch right next to Melzar's Maze, which is north of Rimmington. Simply pick an onion from the patch.

6. A rat's tail is obtained by killing a level 1 rat. (They drop rat's tails only during the quest). These can be found inside Brian's Archery Supplies next to Hetty in Rimmington.

7. Once you have collected the four Ingredients, return to Hetty and she will make the Potion.

8. When she has finished drink from the Cauldron to conclude the Quest.
