Dangerous Random Events

Random Events can be annoying in RuneScape, but they were put into the game to try and reduce the impact of bots and macros. Since the introduction of random events, Jagex have already made several other changes that now make them less useful. Anyway, there are some safe and some dangerous random events and the dangerous ones are outlined below.

1. Tree Spirit: When you are cutting a tree (any tree) you may be attacked by a Tree Spirit, his combat level is always a few more than yours, so try to spare it if ur lvl 59 or -, but it can drop axes, logs, or just ashes

2. River Troll: While fishing, you may be attacked by a River Troll, his combat level is always a few more than yours (too)

3. Rock Golem: While mining, you may be attacked by a Rock Golem, his combat level is always a few more than yours (TOO), it may drop some good ores

4. Shades: While burying bones, you may be attacked by a Shade, they may drop Shadow Robes and a lot of bones

5. Zombies: While burying bones, you may be attacked by a Zombie, they may drop sets of bones, Runes or Talismans

6. Swarm: While doing anything on RuneScape, a swarm can attack you for no reason, and you cant attack them!, if you are level 63 or more you should finish anything you are doing and climb-up or down stairs, or just walk to a room and close the door quick, util they leave. If you let the swarn fight you, they will eventually take all your hitpoints away.

7. Evil Chicken: Not all chickens are low level, this chicken is REALLY EVIL! Its combat level is almost aways a few more than yours, but it drops a lot of feathers, pretty useful for fletching - although if you are fletching, it might be easier to just buy headless arrows from the grand exchange than to cut logs, fletch into arrow shafts and then buy or collect features to attach to the arrow shafts. It is normally cheaper and quicker to buy headless arrows.

There are other random events that are not really dangerous and can give some ok rewards. Jagex are always likely to change random events to keep them more fresh and interesting. Hopefully any they introduce to the game are not dangerous.
