Weaving in Runescape
by: Latona
If you prefer to make your own sacks and baskets to store your farming produce, or if you are after cloth for questing, then weaving on a loom is where you will need to be. You can give the produce you have grown to various farmers in exchange for them watching your crops.
| Item: | Level: | Item Needed: | Exp Gained: |
| Bolt of Cloth | 10 | 4 balls of Wool | 12 |
| Sack | 21 | 4 Jute Fibre | 38 |
| Basket | 36 | 6 Willow Branches | 56 |
A Loom is required to weave and can be found both at Falador and the Elf Camp. Essentially a loom is used to weave together multiple items, unlike a spinning wheel where 1 item is produced per resource used.
When you have located a loom, click on the 'Weave' option from this menu, you can select the item you wish to create. It is quicker in general to simply buy Sacks and Baskets for storing produce although some people may prefer to make their own. Weaving enables them to do this albeit the farming shops are readily stocked with Sacks and Baskets.
