Compost in Runescape Farming
There are 2 types of compost. Normal compost and Super compost.
Normal Compost:
To get regular/normal compost you can buy it from any farming store around runescape or you can also get it by making your own.
The following can be placed in compost bins to produce normal compost:
1. Weeds.
2. Barley and Jute plants.
3. Hammerstone hops, asgarnian hops, yannilian hops, krandorian hops and wildblood hops.
4. All flowers.
5. Dwellberries, redberries and cadavaberries.
6. Potatoes, cabbages, onions, tomatoes, strawberries and sweetcorn.
7. Guam, marrentill, tarromin, harralander, goutweed, ranarr weed and irit leaf.
8. Apples, bananas, oranges and curry.
Super Compost:
Super compost is way more effective then normal compost. It gives you a better chance of growing crops/trees without having the problem of disease or having them die.
To make super compost put any of the following in the compost bins:
1. Pineapples, Watermelons
2. Jangerberries, White berries, Poison ivy berries
3. Mushrooms
4. Papayas, Coconut shells
5. Toadflax, Avantoe, Kwuarm ,Snapdragon, Cadantine, Lantadyme, Dwarf weed, Torstol
6. Any tree roots (can be obtained by digging up trees you planted )
Compost Bins:
There are compost bins located near each major farming spot that has a farming shop nearby. There are 4 bins in total, all u have to do is put in 15 items noted above and close the lid then leave for 1 - 2 hours. When ready, open the bin and use an empty bucket on the bin to fill it with compost.
