Farming Stores:
There are 4 farming shops that sell farming equipment. Here's where you can find them:
1. northwest of Port Phasmatys.
2. north of Catherby.
3. southeast of Falador.
4. north of Ardougne.
Each farming store sells all farming equipment and other items that players stock. Dont forget farming equipment can also be got from killing lvl 7 farmers that are found scattered around runescape.
Planting a Tree:
To plant a tree the process is quite simple:
1. Buy a plantpot, gardening trowel and a spade.
2. Put the seed in the plantpot.
3. Water the seed and wait a few minutes for it to turn into a seedling.
4. Find a suitable patch and rake it.
5. Use (super)compost with the patch.
6. Plant the seedling in the patch.
7. Pay a farmer to watch your tree (highly recommended, otherwise chances are it'll die).
How to remove your tree and gain experience:
Check the health of your tree to gain alot of experience then use a hatchet on the tree to cut it down. After it has been cut and you can see a tree stump, use your spade on the tree stump to dig it up. If you do not have a spade then you can pay the farmer 200gp to cut it for you.
It should be noted that if you cut the tree down yourself and plant another tree you will have to use (super)compost on the patch again. However if you pay the farmer to cut it down and you want to plant a new tree, then you do not have to put (super)compost on the patch.
