Firemaking Tips
Runescape Levelling Tips:
- Level 1 - 20 you should burn normal logs.
- Level 21 - 40 you should now burn oak logs.
- Level 41 - 50 you can burn willow for quick experience.
- Level 35 - 50 Members can burn Teak logs at the hardwood enclosure on Karamja.
- Level 51 - 60 you can burn maple logs at Seers Bank if you are a member.
- Level 51 - 60 Alternatively, members can burn Mahogany logs at the hardwood enclosure on Karamja.
- Level 61 - 80 you can burn yew logs. It does get expensive if you are buying the logs, and can take a long time if you are cutting the logs yourself.
- Level 80+ Members can burn magic logs if they want. It is good experience but there are much better uses for magic logs than wasting them just for the sake of some extra firemaking experience.
Runescape Experience Tips:
- Willow logs are cheap and give 90 experience each. Highly suggested training with these until level 60 or level 65 firemaking at least.
- Members can combine woodcutting and firemaking training at the hardwood enclosure on Karamja and get good firemaking experience for both Teak and Mahogany logs.
- Members can also get 255 exp per Yew Pyre Log compared to 202.5 exp for normal yew log burning. Burning pyre logs may be slower process on the whole but there are other benefits associated with it.
- Members can get 404.5 exp for buring Magic Pyre Logs compared to 303.8 exp for burning normal magic logs.
Runescape Money Tips by Firemaking:
- Burning Pyre Logs at Shades of Mort'on temple can provide some income from firemaking. The higher the log used the better chance of getting fine cloth as well as better items in the chests.
Other Runescape Firemaking Tips:
- Members should get their firemaking to level 65 in order to be able to light mining helmets.
- Members should aim for a minimum of level 49 firemaking so they can light a bullseye lantern.
