Making Darts

In order to be able to make dart tips you will need to have completed the Tourist Trap Quest. In addition, you will need a high enough smithing level if you are planning to make the actual tips yourself. If you buy the dart tips then you can attach feathers to them regardless of whether you have completed the quest or not.

The process of making darts is extremely straightforward:

1. Smith the dart tip at an anvil
2. Use feathers to attach to the dart tips

As you will have noticed, an extremely easy process to do. The type of dart you can make will be limited to either your smithing or fletching levels. The table below shows the experience for each dart type and the level required to make them.

Rune	81	18.8

Each bar used to smith darts will create 10 dart tips. The darts when completed can have poison added to them by players to inflict more damage. Darts have a quick firing rate but not an extremely powerful one. They are often used while training on lower defense monsters due to their firing rate.
