Using Fletching in Runescape
Fletching in runescape is a members only skill. Fletching can be a good money making method for those players who put the hard work into collecting all the resources themselves. Fletching can be useful for other skills on runescape as well, magic and ranging namely. The most frequent item that people fletch will be longbows that they can then sell to mages to perform high alchemy on or they can cast high alchemy themselves. Similar with arrows, players can use these for their own skill advancement or can sell to other players looking to improve their ranging skill.

Level 1 Fletching:
At level 1 fletching members can make arrow shafts from normal logs. It is very simple and each log will make 15 arrow shafts. You will only require a hatchet and a knife in your inventory and can make as many shafts as you like since they are a stackable item which makes it easy to accumulate a large amount without having to bank every time your inventory is filled with logs. The shafts can be sold to higher level fletchers or alternatively kept for your own future use.
Level 15 Fletching:
At level 15 fletching members can make Iron Arrows. These are very useful when training your range skill. You can make some money from producing Iron Arrows if you collect up the other raw materials required yourself, otherwise it is best to use them to advance your ranging ability.
Level 60 Fletching:
At level 60 fletching members are able to make Adamantite Arrows. This is the best arrow type available for using on non-member worlds and as such does have a reasonable demand for them. Primarily it will be Pkers who demand these arrows although some others will train with them as well. Again the demand will not always be in huge quantities, but should be constant nonetheless. Regarding making money from these it is somewhat limited but the experience gained from making the arrows means quick experience and is a good payoff as gradually over time you will be able to make either most of your money back or some profit depending if you collected the raw resources yourself.
Level 70 Fletching:
At level 70 fletching members will be able to make Yew Longbows. This has great potential to earn money, especially if all resources are gathered by yourself. The more resources that you buy from other players the less profit that you can make as a percentage, although it could mean more profit overall as less time would be required by you to turn it into profit. As an additional payoff you would also gain quicker fletching experience although negate any woodcutting or crafting experience that you may have gained.
Level 80 Fletching:
At level 80 fletching members will be able to make Magic Shortbows. There is the chance that you can sell some Magic Shortbows to other players although it will not be on a regular basis nor will it be in huge quantities. Moreso, as you can now make Magic Shortbows you will be able to replace any that you lose quickly while training or fighting in the wilderness.
