Hunter Skill - Basics

The Hunter Skill in Runescape is the latest offering by Jagex to appease the growing number of players that are attracted to this hugely popular MMORPG. It must be noted that this is a game and as such should be taken in the game context.

In order to start off gaining experience for the Hunter Skill, players will need to visit one of the Hunter Shops located at Yanille or Nardah. They will be able to buy the supplies required for whichever path of hunting they choose to undertake.

There are various types of hunting methods available and depending on a players' skill level they may be restricted to the basic Bird Snare or Tracking methods.

In addition, there are also dedicated areas where players are able to hunt and these are scattered throughout the lands of Runescape. Different animals are able to be hunted in different areas and players should consult their preferred hunting method to learn of the relevant area they need to go to.

Once a player has embarked on their hunter career they will face many challenges of patience, stealth, camouflage and bravery. There is some ingame help offered via the Hunter Guides located at the north of the Trollweiss and Rellekka area, or the west side of the Feldip Jungle area.
