Rune Essence Mining in Runescape

There are various ways to teleport to the Rune Essence mine although there is actually only one mine. Players will need to goto one of the non-playing characters and get teleported to the mine. Players must have completed the Rune Mysteries quest to be teleported.

There are two types of rune essence that can be mined. Normal rune essence and Pure rune essence. Normal essence will enable players to make the 6 normal runes that can be made on non-member servers while Pure essence can make any type of rune.

Players can mine both types of essence at the same place as before. The type of essence received is automatically decided when you mine the rock. Players will always get pure essence if their mining is over 30 and they are on a members' world, otherwise normal essence is received.

The list below shows who can teleport players into the rune essence mine:

1.Wizard Sedridor - Basement of The Wizards Tower
2.Aubury - The Magic Shop in Varrock
3.Wizard Cromperty - East Ardougne, north-east of the market place.
4.Wizard Distentor - The Magic Guild in Yanille.
5.Brimstail the gnome - A cave inside a large hollow rock at the Tree Gnome Stronghold
