Runecrafting Tips
Runecrafting Levelling Tips:
- Level 1 - 35 Players should focus on producing Air Runes. The Air Altar is relatively close to Falador Bank.
- Level 35 - 44 should see players making Fire Runes.
- Level 44 - 54 Members can continue to make Fire Runes or they can switch to making Nature Runes with hiring runners or using the Abyss.
- Level 54 - 91 members should focus on making Law Runes using the Law Crafting Service normally found on worlds 66 and 99.
- Level 91 - 99 members can now produce 2 nature runes per pure essence and should focus on making these either using runners of the Abyss.
Runecrafting Experience Tips:
- Essence used to create air runes will give 5 experience each. The Air Altar is quite close to Falador Bank and unless you are a member offers the quickest way for you to get runecrafting experience initially on your own.
- Essence used to creat any fire runes will give 7 experience each. This is useful to get members upto level 44 to be able to produce nature runes.
- Members able to make nature runes will get 9 experience per essence. This can be reasonably quick experience if you hire essence runners but can become costly over time.
- Each law rune produced will give 9.5 experience each. Crafting at the law altar and using runners is the quickest method of gaining runecrafting experience. It does cost the runecrafter the pure essence as they benefit from gaining the experience.
- Level 91 runecrafting is essentially the same as level 44, although instead of 1 nature rune being produced per essence 2 will be produced. This will ensure a profit can be made and therefore making it a viable training method.
- Members should make use of the Essence Pouches found in the Abyss to almost double their carrying capacity.
Runescape Money Tips for Runecrafting:
- Level 59 runecrafting can mean some money is made as members can runecraft double cosmics. Demand does fluctuate a bit but with producing 2 runes per essence there is profit to be made.
- Level 91 runecrafting in the aim for most runecrafters as double production of nature runes can ensure a healthy profit is made.
- Death runes can provide some useful income, however, it is more likely runecrafting death runes will be a way of saving you money than making you money.
Other Runescape Runecrafting Tips:
- Players should always use a tiara when entering runecrafting altars to give themselves 1 extra inventory space per trip
- Members using the Abyss method to runecraft should also use a glory amulet to teleport back to Edgeville Bank.
- It is advisable to wear boots of lightness while runecrafting to enable you to run for longer.
- If mining rune essence then only wield a rune pickaxe and have pouches in your inventory to minimise weight and allow more rune essence to be carried per trip.
