Runecrafting Levels Guide

At the center of each Altar you will be able to craft all your essence. It will not work if the essence is noted. The tables below show the level required and the experience rewarded for crafting each rune.

Normal Essence (Non-members can make these types of runes). As pure essence can make the same as normal essence either essence can be used to make the 6 basic runes.

Multiple Runes per Essence:

As you gain higher levels in runecrafting you will be able to benefit form making multiple runes per rune essence. The tables below show the levels where you are able to take advantage of this however, it should be noted that experience will be rewarded on the essence converted and not on each of the runes made from the essence.

Combination Runes:

Members are also able to combine two types of rune into a new combination rune.

To make combination runes, you will need to have a rune of one elemental type, a talisman that matches the runes you have brought with you, and some pure essence. You should then head to the altar of the secondary element you wish bound into your combination rune.

For example: Mud runes are a combination of Earth and Water runes. So to make Mud runes you will need some Earth runes, an Earth talisman and some Pure essence. Go to the Water altar and use the Earth talisman on the altar and you will craft the runes. Alternatively, you can take Water runes and a Water talisman to the Earth altar.

The runes and pure essence will be converted into an equal number of combination runes. This process of combining runes uses up your original runes, your pure essences and your talisman.

There is a 50% chance of success when you combine runes, but you can increase this to 100% by wearing a Binding Necklace. The binding necklace has 15 charges so after 15 attempts to combine runes the necklace will vanish. It works along the same principle of a ring of forging.
