Levels 1-20

Levels 1-15 should be using an iron woodcutting axe. You should also be cutting regular logs until level 20 because if you cut oaks at 15 it will be pretty slow. Now stock up on as many logs as you want. With the regular logs make them into arrow shafts until you can make short bows and longbows, and also use the logs for fire making. Then use the oak logs to make short bows and long bows if you are a high enough level. Then use the rest of the logs for fire making.

Levels 35-50

Level 35s should now buy a rune woodcutting axe. If you start cutting willows at level 30 it will be slow, so I suggest you start at level 35. Now stock up on willows and use them for your fire making mostly. A load of willows gives you about 2,000 experience for fire making. Then if you are a high enough level to make willow short bows and long bows, use the willow logs for fletching.

Now get your woodcutting up to level 50. Once at level 50 start to cut maples because if you start at level 45 it will be a slow process like always. So always woodcutt at least 5-10 levels ahead so it will be faster. Stock up on maples and use them for making money, fire making, and fletching.

Maples are always in high demand so its a good way of making money if you stock up on them. Each maple log gives you 100 experience. they sell for 43gp each but the price always varies in the grand exchange. Then make maple long bows and short bows, a load of maples give you about 3-4k experience. Also maples are one of the best woods for fire making(because there cheap).

Levels 65-80

Now when you reach level 65, cut yew logs. This is a Great way of making money and getting your fletching and fire making skill up. So stock up on a lot of yews logs to buy a dragon woodcutting axe for 2.3mill. Every load of yews gives you 10-11k. I really don't burn or fletch them because they are a good way of making money.

Now when you reach level 80 you should try and cut magic logs. If you are going to cut magic logs it's a REALLY slow process. It takes about 1 minute to get 1 log, but it's an even GREATER way of making money. Each log last time I checked sold for 1.4k each. I suggest not burning logs or fletching them unless you have a lot of money to do it, so reach level 99 and be happy...
