Level 1-5
Make clay pots to improve level and dont worry about money yet.
5-15
You must be able to mine gold, which can be done by power mining iron. Keep pumping out those gold necklaces, amulets, and rings. Save up the money.
16-25
Start buying sapphires from gem stores and making that jewellery. You can start selling them to the jewellery store in port sarim. You will get your first taste of the real money, getting 100-500 coins for little effort on your part. Also, a big bonus with gems is that they can be bought relatively cheaply and turned into a high profit jewellery. Start stocking up on the emeralds.
26-35
Emeralds are basically the same as saphhires, but more money. These get 200-900 coins per sale.
35-49
Rubies are different because they have a large gap between rings and necklaces. The money is amazing though, so be happy. 1100 to 3000 per sale.
50+
Congratulations, you're making diamond jewellery. Enjoy the large sums of money. 3000 to 6000 per sale.
Level Up Fast
For levelling up, nothing beats silver. Go to al kharid, mine a ton of silver(5 ores in nearby mine) and turn it into holy symbols. 50 exp for each one. they only sell for a max of 80 coins, but are incredible for levelling up.
Enchanting
With cosmic runes, you will be able to upgrade amulets to help your stats
- sapphire-amulet of magic
- emerald-amulet of defence
- ruby-amulet of strength
- diamond-amulet of attack
note* you need high magic levels to do these spells.
This is just one method to level up your crafting skill using jewellery. There are many other methods available and people may prefer to level up their crafting skill using cow hides or dragon hides if they are a member. Whatever method is chosen good luck on getting to your desired crafting level.

Ok that was a really good guide, but how about the moulds i have to get, i can NEVER find any moulds anywhere to make necklaces

As far as I am aware you can buy all the moulds you need from the crafting store in Al-Kharid.
