Maging Greater Demons

After you have ensured all relevant runes are in your inventory and you are wearing equipment that gives you a mage bonus, make sure to include some nature and law runes and watchtower teleport runes. Alternatively make sure you have a charged glory amulet.

Head towards the ogre enclave and move over to the Greater Demon Cage. Simply choose the spell of your choice and start maging them. The Greater Demons can drop clues and other items you may wish to telegrab so be on the lookout for those.

Maging at Greater Demons

There are a few things to be aware of when training here. Firstly, do not attack the Ogre Shaman that walk around. You will regret it as they will do significant damage to you and may kill you.

Secondly, if you do decide to walkabout then be careful to avoid the Blue Dragons as if you have not taken an anti-dragonfire shield with you then you will suffer a lot of damage from the Dragons breath.

Apart from those two things to be cautious of, there is nothing stopping you from happily training your mage levels up at this location. The overall cost will be significant although the clues dropped by the Greater Demons may pay for the runes that you use. They may not, but the cost isn't what you are worried about, it is gaining the required magic levels.
