The melee bible

Meleers, otherwise known as the most hard core members of runescape, are real men. The melee community needs more face-stomping pirates like us, so ill tell you how to become one.

YOU ARE A NOOB

You just got of tutorial island, with a bronze short sword, a bow and arrow, and some runes. Ditch those wimpy runes and arrows and strap up your sword. It may be tempting to start wasting goblins, but not yet, go to the farms and kill chickens. Be sure to bury their bones, prayer is a horrible thing to underestimate. Do this until you are a level 10 combat.

HOLD IT BUB

Be sure to upgrade strength, attack, and defense. Attack first, strength second, defense last. Heres why

Attack= you will be able to weild stronger weapons

Strength= to hit higher damage

Defense= to lower your chance of dying

Upgrade all of these until each is level 10. DONT COMPLAIN YOU WIMP, it should only take a half hour to do it. Also, cook the chickens you kill, so you dont die.

BACK TO BUSINESS

Okay there ahab, now that you have decent stats, start killing those goblins. You will start to notice they drop items. You might even get some bronze armour. Keep your cool, you'll be able to kill dragons for fun in no time at all. Just keep killing goblins until you are level 30 combat. Make sure to bury those bones and train ALL the skills. Now you can move on to either scorpions in the drarven mines or the guards around falador.

Continue until you have 50 in each skill. You are now around lvl 60, and no longer a noob. Just keep killing those high level monsters, and start working on skills now. Get armour and start pwning.

TIPS

NEVER trust mages, ever. They are all scam artists and jerks. expecially the high level ones. they think just because they can hit high at an early level they can step on everyone else. If you see a mage in wildy, kill him fast, and use that prayer.
